Nova Vita is made from textile waste that is ground, dyed, and respun. The yarn comes in recycled packaging, and its banderol is made from seed paper, which can be planted to grow new plants, giving it a second life.
This cord yarn has a diameter of 2.50–3.00 mm and consists of a woven outer layer around a thinner inner core, providing strength and durability. It is ideal for crocheting, knitting, or macramé projects such as bags, placemats, cushions, lampshades, or plant hangers.
Available in 12 solid colours and 6 multicolour shades. Nova Vita No. 4 is made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester and carries the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification. It is washable up to 30°C. The recommended knitting needle size is 5.00 mm and the recommended crochet hook size is 4.00 mm.
Each ball of Nova Vita No. 4 weighs 250 grams and has a length of 200 metres.
