DMC Perlgaren (also called cord thread) is a strong, glossy 100% cotton embroidery thread suitable for (cross-stitch) embroidery, kumihimo, appliqué, very fine crochet, and other handcraft techniques.
Perlgaren is a two-ply thread that resembles a fine cord and cannot be separated. DMC Perlgaren is renowned worldwide for its brilliant shine and silky-smooth texture.
It is available in various thicknesses (the higher the number, the finer the thread) and in a wide range of colours. The thread is colourfast and washable up to 95°C.
