DMC Perlgaren (also called cord thread) is a strong, glossy, 100% cotton embroidery thread suitable for (cross-stitch) embroidery, kumihimo, appliqué, fine crochet, and other handcraft techniques.
Perlgaren is a two-ply thread that resembles a fine cord and cannot be separated. It is world-renowned for its brilliant shine and silky-soft texture.
Available in various thicknesses (the higher the number, the finer the thread) and in a wide range of colours. Colourfast and machine washable up to 95°C.
